East River Development

The East River project was an approximately $2.5 Billion residential and office development located in the Historic Fifth Ward/ EaDo District of Houston, Texas. SEAL’s services included the commercial portion of the development and consisted of two five-story commercial office buildings (Phase 1) ̶ one with an amenities deck and first floor retail space, a single-story retail standalone and restaurant building, as well as a six-level parking garage with first floor retail spaces. Prior to SEAL’s inception, our staff provided design review services for the project. Subsequently, SEAL staff provided construction phase services, which included shop drawing and submittal review, as well as periodic site observations. We also performed field performance testing services to support the project team. The building enclosure systems included below-grade and amenities deck waterproofing, curtain wall, window wall and storefront glazing systems, brick masonry veneer, metal wall panels, and composite wood panel cladding systems.
