The LBJ Hospital project was a 1.2 million square foot, 14-story healthcare building located in Houston, TX. The Hospital building contained an accessible amenities plaza area, a below-grade utilities tunnel, and crawl space. The exterior building enclosure components included pavers and vegetation over horizontal plaza deck waterproofing, as well as below-grade elevator pit, utility tunnel, and sub-podium waterproofing. The exterior wall of the building consisted of glass and aluminum curtain wall; masonry veneer masonry, MCM and formed metal wall panels, Portland cement plaster (stucco) over insulation, air barrier, and sheathing; pre-cast concrete wall panel with insulation. The low-slope membrane roofing system was comprised of two single-ply roofing membranes and also accommodated glazed skylights and roof-mounted helipad.
