The One Uptown project was a 14-level mixed-use building also known as Broadmoor Block A of the 66-acre Uptown ATX development in Austin, Texas. The building is comprised of six levels of above-grade parking with an amenities deck above serving the office and adjacent residential building, one level of below-grade parking, 15,000 SF of retail space at the first level and eight levels of Class A office space. There were also several terraces serving the office spaces throughout the building. The facade of Block A was comprised of a unitized curtain wall system featuring vertical terracotta-colored fins and fritted glazing and included a low-slope membrane roofing system. Prior to SEAL’s inception, our staff provided design review services for the project. Afterwards, we provided Construction phase services, which included shop drawing and submittal review, as well as periodic site observations.
