PHMS New Pediatric Campus

The PHMS New Pediatric Campus was located in Dallas, Texas. This project included hospital towers, an emergency department/diagnostic with treatment/ambulatory building, a faculty and clinical support building, a thermal energy plant, parking garages, and connectors between buildings. The project goal was to transform care for countless children, while setting new industry benchmarks in healthcare design and construction. The exterior building enclosure consisted primarily of below-grade water, glazed curtain wall, opaque rainscreen wall panels, horizontal waterproofing, and low-slope roofing. The building enclosure design review scope for the Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Documents (CD) phases primarily included third-party review of design team provided drawing and specifications, as well as supplemental consultation through each phase provided support to the Project Team.
